Working closely with American Indian artists is a delight.  I've always enjoyed the satisfaction that comes from recognizing great artistic talent and then working to promote the artist behind that talent.  Here, in my featured artist section, I am pleased to introduce some of today's most creative American Indian artists, many who are unknown outside a very small community of collectors.  I will add a new Native artist on the first of each month.

Introducing Jody Naranjo

I have a very special presentation this month from esteemed Santa Clara potter Jody Naranjo.  For this month's feature, I'm proud to be able to present both Jody Naranjo's gorgeous signature scraffitto pottery and her newest artistic development - folk pottery animals that are just about the cutest things you've ever seen.  To be able to work so successfully in two such distinct styles is the mark of a true artist.  Please enjoy!
