The inlaid mudhead figure in this center of this ring is fantastic. Rather than being perfectly flat against the ring, the mudhead has some nice depth. You can, in fact, rub his round little red belly and feel the nice shape of the coral inlay. The mudhead is wearing an abalone loin cloth and boots, turquoise earrings and carrying a turquoise rattle. Quite a bit of detail for the face of a ring. The figure is set in silver with stamping all around. The ring dates circa 1970s. It is a size 5, and the face measures 1 1/2" x 1".
