You know those beautiful decorated sugar eggs that have Easter scenes inside? This incredibly detailed hand-beaded egg reminds us of those. The egg is beaded all around in a multitude of pastel colors. Inside the egg sits a baby chick and colorful little eggs on a large tuft of beaded Easter grass. This scene makes the perfect accompaniment to your Easter tree. It is made by a family of Zuni beadworkers. Marti Struever loved it so much that she initially decided to keep it for herself. The piece measures 6" tall with a 3" diameter. It is unsigned.
