Here is an interesting swirl and half circle necklace by Mary Tafoya. For the pendant, Mary Tafoya has hand-cut and hand-shaped shells and stones and turquoise into swirls and half circles. She has then arranged the pieces into a design on her signature serpentine base. A layer of jet holds everything together and also provides a contrasting backdrop with the light-colored shells. The pendant hangs on rolled turquoise beads and measures 2" wide x 1 7/8" tall. The necklace measures 10 3/4" length. Mary has signed the piece "MLT" with her butterfly hallmark.
