This small 1920's belt comes directly from the ex collection of Chester College. It is a fine example of a Navajo belt from that era with with 14 little oval silver conchos set with a natural turquoise center and precisely stamped with arrows, circles and a pattern that mirrors the scallops along the edge of the silver. The oval buckle is slightly larger, and it is decorated with two matching natural turquoise cabs along with more complex stamping including two whirling logs. Possibly ingot silver, the conchos measure 1 1/4" x 1". The buckle measures 1 3/4" x 1 3/8". The leather belt measures 47 1/2" with a width of 5/8".
