Here's a superb polychrome jar by Hisi Nampeyo in our post-Indian Market sale. Her hand-painted Sikyatki parrots beautifully highlight the graceful fluted shape of the traditionally made jar. The reverse of the jar is left unpainted but polished to perfection. The piece measures 8" diameter by 7 1/2" high. It is signed Hisi Nampeyo on the reverse.
