In a departure from his inlay work, Richard Chavez has created this stunning ring of only one type of stone - burnt orange chalcedony set in 14kt gold. Richard re-shaped large pieces of burnt orange chalcedony in order to fashion these two incredible stones with vibrant saturation of color and sheen. A master of asymmetry, Richard Chavez has perfectly rounded the domed top stone, while he has cut the bottom stone in three triangular divisions that come to a dramatic point. The ring is size 8 1/4, and it measures 1 1/2" long x 1" wide. It is signed.
