Here is quite a unique belt buckle by Raymond Sequaptewa. He calls this one "Strong Rain." According to Raymond rain coming down is "happy tears to heal you." For this piece, Raymond has inlaid petrified wood, turquoise, lapis, coral and gold accents on silver. If you look closely, you’ll see a face in the wood - even a raised nose. Raymond is very proud of this face - he’s able to see such wonderful elements in raw materials and then bring them alive in his work. It is signed "Sequaptewa" and the dimensions are 2 3/4" x 1 1/2", 1 1/4" inside the buckle loop.
