This is the most outstanding jar that Rainy Naha took to Indian Market. This is her interpretation of a sherd jar, and what a gorgeous one it is. Rainy Naha is the daughter of the famous potter Helen Naha, otherwise known as "Featherwoman." Rainy is such a skilled potter and painter - notice the large star that forms from the opening around the rim of the pot. The bottom of the piece is speckled, which is commonly found on pre-Hopi pots, and it is signed "Rainy" with a painted feather symbol, the same symbol that her mother used. The piece has a 10" diameter, and it is 5 3/4" high. We have even added a special video of Marti describing this Rainy Naha jar.
