This little fetish is so well done. It depicts an Eagle Dancer, carved out of fossilized ivory by Zuni artist Pernell Laate. The tiny piece shows so much movement as the dancer's feather-covered arms are twirling round and round while his beaked head is pointed downward. The piece measures 1 1/2" tall x 3/4" wide. It is signed on the bottom, "P. Laate."
