Norbert Peshlakai can do just about anything with silver. In fact, Marti Struever considers him "one of the brightest designers of all". This extraordinary silverware set truly highlights Norbert's design brilliance. Notice the ways that Norbert has carried out the triangle theme in this handmade silver set. The handles of the knife, fork, and spoon are all triangular in shape. Then, each utensil is adorned with even more triangular manifestations, from the expertly crafted hand-filed triangles to the triangular notches hand-cut on the handle, Norbert has gone all out with his design. The final piece in the set is a napkin holder that, of course, continues the triangle theme. The pieces are made of very heavy silver, and they are each signed with Norbert's hallmark. To give an idea of the size, the knife measures 7 1/4" long x 5/8" wide. The set was made for specially for one of the largest collectors of Norbert's work.
