A dramatic necklace by Santo Domingo jewelers Henry Rosetta and his wife Ester. This fine handmade piece consists of a necklace strung with hand-carved rosewood beads along with 2 silver cylinder beads that have been inlaid of different stones. The centerpiece of the necklace is a removable silver pendant of inlaid turquoise, mother of pearl, coral, lapis and other stones with tiny dangling heishi strands. The necklace is signed HR. It measures 28 3/4" open while the detachable pendant hangs an additional 5 1/2" long x 1/2" wide. You get two get great looks with this piece - one much more dramatic than the other but both just wonderful. That's why we included it in our Holiday Wonderland sale.
