We've been entrusted to sell this outstanding Nampeyo bowl. The bowl is yellow-ware with polychrome painting of a feather motif and abstract bird. The piece has made its way through several old collections. It was once presented to a collector as his retirement gift - what a great idea! Dating circa 1895-1910, it has a pierced lug on the back for hanging. Interestingly, there is still an old piece of hide attached, which may very well have been tied on by Nampeyo. The vessel measures 9" diameter x 3" wide. It is unsigned. Priced well below retail.
Sorry, this piece has sold.
