Here is a miniature Makah basket representing a large covered bottle basket with a removable lid. This basket is very finely woven in silk with aniline dyes. It is very rare with 3 rows of the tiniest design: birds, whales, and whaling canoes. The basket is perfect. It only measures 1 1/8' high. It is unsigned.
