Here is a miniature Klickitat basket representing a hat. Depicted on the mini hat is a detailed design of a whale and whale hunter in a canoe with a spear. The basket is all natural, made of twined grasses. The top has a tiny onion dome shape. It was probably collected in the 1950's. Part of the ex-Gloria Teleki collection. Gloria Teleki wrote two books on baskets. The dimensions are 2 1/2" height. Unsigned.
