Here is a miniature Hopi plaque basket. It is a coiled basket with overlay of four antelope figures over the regular coil. Made of natural yucca and grass, it is important to note that only Second Mesa does coil placques. These miniature placques might be worn by a katsina or gifted to a child by a katsina. It measures 2 3/4" in diameter, and it dates ca 1970's. It is unsigned.
