This sweet Zuni pendant is entitled "Water Porter" and it is by Zuni jeweler and fetish carver Michael Laweka. A modern day piece in our Zuni celebration, it is a combination of Zuni carving and jewelry making. The Zuni maiden figure is carved out of antlers like a fetish and then inlaid with turquoise and coral. It looks great adorning your neck or freestanding on your shelf as a fetish. The maiden measures 2 3/4" tall x 5/8" wide x 5/8" deep. It comes with an adjustable leather strap that you tie to fit. She is signed on the bottom.
