Mark Tahbo is a noted Hopi potter, who lives at Polacca. We've often visited him during our field trips and watched him traditionally fire pots. In fact, this eye-catching polychrome jar was created by Mark Tahbo in 2006 when we watched a demonstration at his home. It is dramatically painted with his contemporary version of Sikyatki motifs. The piece measures 9" in diameter x 4" high and is signed on the reverse. Year-End Sale.
