This is an adorably complex piece of Zuni beadwork by Larissa Gasper. The piece features two hand-beaded horses (one brown and one white) pulling a hand-made wooden wagon with a Zuni family of a hand-beaded father, son, mother and daughter. The detail of the beadwork is amazing - belt buckles, shirt buttons, hair ties, flowing manes - it's all there. The family can be posed any way you like too. You can see from the additional photos that we've had some fun with different arrangements. There is also a hand-beaded blanket to add to the scene. The pieces come on a hand-cut and stained display block. Some dimensions are 4 3/4" tall x 4 3/4" long for the horses. The father measures 2 1/2" tall x 1 1/4" wide. The scene itself from the front of the horses to the back of the wagon measures 11 1/2" long x 5" across. The piece is signed on the bottom of the wagon "Larissa Gasper, Zuni".
