Husband and wife potters, Arthur and Hilda Coriz, created this large traditional bird plate. From Santo Domingo Pueblo, Arthur and Hilda Coriz used only natural clays and paints - Rocky Mountain Bee Plant was used for the black paint. While Arthur and Hilda Coriz are no longer living, their work continues to grace collectors with incredible beauty. This piece is large measuring 14" diameter x 2 1/2" high. Their signature is etched on the bottom.
