Another addition to our Pueblo pottery featured collection is this large polychrome San Ildefonso jar with stone polish slip. The jar dates 1900-1905. Pueblo pottery expert Jonathan Batkin attributes the vessel to Tona Pena Vigil or Martina and Florentino. It measures 10 1/2" x 9 1/4" high. In 1993, the jar was purchased for $13,500, so we're offering it below retail at $10,500.
