This Jody Naranjo traditional scraffitto jar masterpiece is entitled "Every Picture Tellsa Story," and it paints quite a story.  There are numerous pictorial elements on this jar including a band of bird silhouettes around the top portion, snowcapped mountains, deer with birds on their back, a corn dancer, a crazy horse figure riding on horseback, the church at Abiquiu, and two potters holding the jars that they are working on.  This jar is truly Jody at her very best!  The large pottery piece measures 14 7/8" high and 11 1/2" wide.  It is signed "Every Picture Tellsa Story Jody Naranjo 2010."  Enjoy this beautiful work.
