This pottery bowl was formed by Janice Ortiz of Cochiti Pueblo. Then, it was painted wih a carved and polychromed whale image on the interior by Alfred Woods, who is Navajo. The image on the bowl is reminiscent of ones depicted in Northwest Coast art. This is a handsome and interesting multi-cultural piece. Signed Alfred Woods. 10" diameter x 3" height.
