A stunning jar by one of our favorite Hopi potters, Jake Koopee. Before his passing, Jake Koopee created this 5-color polychrome jar in the traditional manner from his firing spot up on top of First Mesa. He expertly painted the piece with hummingbirds, eagle feathers and QoQole katsina. Jake included a round cut out in the pottery to depict a flower. The jar is signed Koopee, and it measures 8" x 3 1/2". Part of our spring pottery sale.
