This is Ira Custer's novel take on traditional dragonfly necklaces. It is so remarkable because Ira Custer has used a traditional technique (tufa casting) to create an oh, so contemporary piece that still pays homage to the old-style jewelry. Ira Custer has attached 7 silver tufa cast dragonflies with silver links to form the necklace. Notice how there are four different dragonfly designs in all - one even has a more curved body. It is little details like these that make Ira Custer's jewelry so great! The 7th center dragonfly even acts as a removable pendant. Each dragonfly measures 2 1/2" and the necklace itself measures 27" opened. It is signed "ITC Sterling"
