This is such a distinctive bolo by Mary Tafoya. You just won't find another bolo like it. Mary Tafoya has hand-cut and hand-shaped mixed shells and stones like spiny oyster and turquoise. She has then arranged her pieces into a swirl design on her signature serpentine base. A layer of jet holds everything together. The inlaid tips measure 1 1/2" in length. The keeper measures 3.5" long x 2" wide. It is signed "MLT" with Mary Tafoya's butterfly hallmark.
