Collectors around the world have heard of artist Virgil Ortiz from Cochiti Pueblo. Fewer have heard of his father, Guadalupe Ortiz, husband of Seferina. This small bowl with whimsical paintings of clouds, rain, lightning, and a lizzard is traditional Cochiti in design. The piece measures 3 1/2" diameter x 1 1/2" tall and is signed "G. Ortiz". It is debuting in our post-Indian Market sale.
