We always like to include some miscellaneous contemporary pieces in our catalogue. A nod to those pieces is this pin of an inlay katsina face by Zuni artist Gomeo Bobelu. Gomeo's unique style is immediately recognizable. The face is set with large raised inlay of jet, mother-of-pearl, spondylus shell and different types of turquoise. A special added detail is the beaded jocla necklace that freely hangs from the figure. The piece measures 2 5/8" x 1 1/2". It is signed "Gomeo Zuni".
