This 19th century necklace is a true piece of history! This is an authentic peace medal pendant. It is strung on old thread of actual bone hair pipes with old glass trade beads. One of the neatest parts of this necklace is the closure, which is a button that is handmade out of bone. Appearing on the copper medal is a bust of Andrew Jackson. On the other side are the words "Peace and Friends". The dimensions of this piece are 10 1/4" necklace length with a 1 1/4" diameter on the medal. We can't imagine a better piece for history buffs!
