This silver and gold necklace by Charlyn Reano of Santo Domingo Pueblo is a feat of accomplishment. First, she hand crocheted silver wire to form a necklace. Then she used a mokume gane technique on multiple layers of silver and 22 kt gold to create an exquisite melded-metal flower. A finishing accent is two 22kt leaves. The flower can be worn to the side or in the center of the necklace for different looks. The piece measures 17 3/4" open including the pendant which measures 1 1/2" diameter. Hallmarked.
