Early Bracelet of Ingot Silver and Hubbell Glass Beads

X5082

This is the first Hubbell glass bead bracelet that we've had in several years. Dating circa 1910-1920, this ingot silver collector piece is set with 11 blue Hubbell glass beads. The beads were originally imported by trader John (Don) Lorenzo Hubbell (of Hubbell Trading Post fame) and sold or traded to American Indians in the area for use in their jewelry-making. They are quite rare today and highly collectible. The bracelet is unsigned. It measures 1 1/4" opening with a 4 7/8" inside circumference and 5/8" width.
