Zuni jeweler Dale Edaakie is an absolute master inlayer, and you can really see just why with this cupid pin. It is absolutely mindboggling to think that Dale Edaakie has been able to create little details like eyebrows, toes, an achilles tendon, flaxen hair, a bow, wings, a drape with folds, and a sweet facial expression using only different colors of shell that are perfectly cut to fit together just right. The tip of cupid's arrow is golden and there is even a little gold string in cupid's bow. Just wonderful! We're pretty sure this is one of the only American Indian cupid pins that you'll ever find! The pin measures 3 1/2" high x 2 1/2" wide. It is hallmarked "Dale Edaakie" in multiple places on the reverse.
