Here is an exquisite ring by Charles Loloma with a very special provenance. The ring is set in 14kt gold with a large, natural high grade Lone Mountain turquoise stone. The ring was made in 1976 by Loloma as Anita Da's (of San Ildefonso pottery fame) special order for a client. Loloma and Anita Da were very close. What is especially interesting about this ring is that after we acquired it, we sent it to Sonwai (Charles Loloma's niece) to have it cleaned and polished. When Sonwai was cleaning the piece, she removed the stone to tighten it, and behind the stone, she discovered a piece of a credit card that once belonged to Charles Loloma. The credit card piece clearly says "Charles Lo" on it. Charles obviously cut up one of his own credit cards in order to secure the stone into the bezel. Fortunately, Sonwai returned the little credit card piece of history to us, and it comes with the ring. The ring is in such good shape that it looks like it was just recently made. It is size 10 1/4, but we can have it sized to fit you should you should fall madly in love with it and be a different size. It is signed.
