Here is an early buckle by Hopi master Charles Loloma. This simple and modern buckle of ironwood, silver and turquoise was purchased directly from Charles Loloma. It dates circa 1962 - 1964. The measurements are 2 3/4" x 1 1/8". It fits up to a 1" belt. A well-worn brown leather belt is included with this much-loved piece. You can keep the buckle in it's original condition with a few surface cracks on the ironwood, or you can buff up the silver and ironwood to look new. The piece is unsigned. An excellent deal for a handmade piece by the father of contemporary American Indian jewelry.
