An elegant buckle by Hopi master Charles Loloma. Acquired directly from Loloma in 1976, the buckle is set with wood and inlay of turquoise, lapis and coral in silver with a teeny sliver of shell inlay. The piece has a sculptural quality as Loloma set the inlay in a stacked fashion above the wood and even carved a horizontal groove across the wood. Signed, the buckle measures 3 1/2" x 1 3/4" and fits a 1 1/2" belt. It is part of our Summertime Steals at 50% off. Yes, for Loloma!
