We even have a lovely fetish necklace as part of our jewelry estate sale. This one is a single strand fetish necklace with hand-carved open mouthed birds, most of which are turquoise. The center of the necklace is a large hand-carved bird pendant. It is strung on very fine olivella heishi. The necklace is probably from Santo Domingo Pueblo. We're dating it circa 1960's. The necklace measures 15 1/8" long to the bottom of the large bird fetish. Each smaller bird fetish measures approximately 7/8".
