Now this is a honey of a spondylus ring. It is by Navajo jeweler Albert Lee of Shiprock, New Mexico. Together with his brother, Alfred Lee, Albert does some of the most beautiful contemporary coral and spondylus work around. This ring lets the large piece of spondylus (or spiny oyster shell) do all of the talking. The ring is size 9, and it measures 1 3/4" tall x 1" wide. It is signed "Albert Lee of Shiprock NM Sterling".
