These gorgeous earrings are a very early pair of Pueblo jewelry. Dating as early as the 1890's, the earrings are hand-drawn and hand-hammered wire hoops with a fluted bead addition that travels freely around the hoop. Silver dangles set with natural green turquoise are a final addition to the earrings. The earrings were originally worn with the heavy-gauge wire hoop going directly through the ear. Later on, to make the earrings, more wearable, silver buttons were added with posts for pierced ears. These phenomenal earrings dangle 3 1/2" long. They are obviously unsigned.
