You WILL turn heads when wearing this necklace! The piece comes directly from the Aguilar family, and supposedly the large spondylus shell was carved and inlaid by Tony Aguilar's father. This family heirloom has remained in the Aguilar family until now. The shell hangs from a necklace of natural hand-rolled, hand-drilled turquoise. A perfect, necklace representitive of both old Santo Domingo and a revered family of jewelers. The large inlaid shell measures 3 3/4" long x 3 1/8" wide. The necklace hangs 15 1/2". It is unsigned and hangs with a Native wrap that has been rewrapped for extra security. Sorry, this piece has sold.
