A large polychrome pottery olla from Zuni, ca 1900-1920. The jar has been hand coiled, slip painted and traditionally fired. It is painted with various geometric and stepped devices using hatching (vertical line drawings) and solid elements. The vessel measures 13 in diameter and is 9 high. It is in good condition with just two small fine line cracks. There is no evidence of repainting or plaster added, no restoration. This Zuni jar is underpriced for the age and size.
