This ring is made to be flaunted! More a piece of high art than your everyday piece of jewelry, Orlando Dugi has created this impressive "Galaxy Ring" entirely by hand. The ring is made of Hubeite and Apophyllite on a large chunk of quartz set in silver with a flowing ostrich feather accent. Have you ever seen anything like it! According to Orlando Dugi, the ring was inspired by a Navajo crystal gazing ceremony where prayers to the stars are sent up through smoking tobacco. The feathers on the ring represent the tobacco. The two circular cut-outs on the shank of the ring represent the moon and the earth while the long cut-out represents a person's lifeline. The face of the ring measures 2" x 3/4" high and 7/8" across not including the feathers. It is a size 9 1/4, and it is unsigned.
