Here is a phenomenal bolo by master jeweler Gibson Nez that showcases the best of his inlay and silver work. The piece is handmade of heavy gauge sterling silver. The keeper is a truncated triangle set with clam shell, lapis, and jasperite in an inlay pattern of horizontal panels and arrows. Bold silver framing finishes the keeper which measures 3 1/2" high x 1 3/8" wide x 5/8" deep. The tips of the neckpiece have 4 stamped silver ornaments measuring from 1" to 2 1/4" long. Gibson Nez hand-braided the black leather neckpiece that measures 49" long. Hallmarked, the piece was originally purchased at Santa Fe Indian Market on 8/21/04. Black Friday final sale.
