Cody Sanderson

I am pleased to introduce Cody Sanderson, a young Navajo metalsmith who continually surprises me with his originality.

In 2002, Cody Sanderson began making jewelry in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Soon after, his work caught my eye as it is very modern yet still infused with accents of traditional Navajo silverwork. The resulting jewelry is exceptionally clever and unexpected yet quite wearable and affordable. In a relatively short time, Cody’s work has received numerous accolades including the prestigious 2008 Heard Indian Market’s Best in Show award along with a SWAIA Indian Market 1st Place ribbon.

I hope that you are as excited by Cody’s jewelry as I am.
