Here is a magnificent pin of perfectly carved leaf turquoise with coral by Sarah Leekya. Sarah is the daughter of the famous Zuni carver Leekya Deyuse. She is known for creating pieces in the old style like her father - sometimes her pieces are even mistakenly said to be those of Leekya himself - and you can see why. Like the carvings of her father, the leaves in this pin are so wonderfully carved that they just seem to come to life. The pin also features decorative silver elements like beading and twisted wire. It measures 3" width x 2" heightd. It is unsigned but authentic Sarah Leekya.
